Bison Children's Scholarship Fund

Have you heard about the BISON Children’s Scholarship Fund? We are a tuition assistance program for economically eligible children to attend private grammar schools of choice. BISON’s mission is to provide low-income parents a full range of choices for their children’s education. The BISON Fund was founded on the belief that children have their best chance at a bright future when families have a choice in selecting an education that best fits their children’s needs. By offering partial scholarship assistance to economically disadvantaged families, BISON is empowering parents, often for the first time, with the ability to choose the school which best meets their child’s needs.

Parents can visit the BISON Fund website at to complete a scholarship pre-application for the 2018-2019 school year. Time is of the essence! The first deadline is February 28, 2018. All pre-applications will be entered into a lottery drawing in early March. If a family’s name is drawn in the lottery, they will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to proceed with the application. Scholarship amounts vary depending on the family’s income, household size and the school’s tuition cost. The highest scholarship amount for 2018-2019 school year is $2,100 per child. Families will be expected to contribute partial tuition toward their child’s education. If you have any questions, or need further information, please contact the BISON Fund Office at 716-854-0869. I encourage you to consider the BISON Fund. They have helped a number of families here at St. Peter’s School.
