"And I say to you, that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." - Matthew 16:18

Respect Life

 Prayer to Christ Unborn
Dear Lord Jesus in the womb of Blessed Virgin Mary,
before your birth, You filled the unborn Baptist with the joy of the
Holy Spirit. Inspire us to see You in every unborn child.
Grant us the perseverance to defend vulnerable human life
from abortion, abandonment, experimentation, and all violations.
Fill us with reverence for the moment of your Incarnation
in Nazareth when the Word became flesh. Amen!

Upcoming event:

Holy Hour for Life, October 2nd, 2020 - 7-8pm at St. Peter’s Worship Site. We will recite the rosary, divine mercy chaplet, the Litany for Life, and have personal prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in honor of Respect Life month.

“Only when we meet the living God in Christ do we know what life is. We are not some casual and meaningless product of evolution. Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary.” -Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

THE TRUTH prayer, from the Sisters for Life: Jesus, I believe that You are good, and that You are Truth itself. I believe in Your love for me, and I ask You to help me believe more and more. Save me from the lies that besiege me; teach me to listen to Your voice alone. Help me to see You looking on me with ten-der love and delight, and to stand firm in this truth always. Jesus, I trust in You! Amen.

Respect Life Committee

Are you Pro-Life? Have you ever thought about what it means to be Pro-Life? As most of us find ourselves at home during this time, what a wonderful opportunity to educate ourselves about what it means to be Pro-Life. What does the Catholic church believe and why? What does science show us? The Respect Life Committee would like to provide you with a list of resources that might help you with your search. We encourage you to take the time to find out what it means to be Pro-Life! "Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you." Jeremiah 4:5

Prayer for Life by Saint John Paul II

O Mary, Bright dawn of the new world,

Mother of the living,

To you do we entrust the cause of life:

Look down, O Mother Upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born,

Of the poor whose lives are made difficult,

Of men and women who are victims of violence

Of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or misguided mercy.

Grant that all who believe in your Son

May proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time.

Obtain for them the grace

To accept the Gospel as a gift ever new,

The joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives

And the courage to bear witness to it

Resolutely, in order to build together with all people of good will,

The civilization of truth and love,

To the praise and glory of God
